802.11ac - Wireless Redefined

Wireless had always been the favorite means of connectivity for anybody, whether its a home users, moblie user or a corporate user. Everybody loves the mobility and wireless makes it possible but with the evolution of video applications, we are able to send video emails, video messages, do video conferences on the move and even enjoy your favorite programs on the move using IPTV technology but  bandwidth had became a bottleneck for the quality transmission of so much heavy and delay sensitive data struggling daily on the wireless networks.

So, new wireless standard 802.11ac had rised to rescue. 11ac is three times faster than 802.11n standards. Lets try to understand the throughput difference with the help of the image below -

802.11ac will use such technologies as beamforming and higher amplitude modulation to send more data faster and more efficiently than 802.11n, NPD In-Stat analyst Gregory Potter told CNET. And 802.11ac will help smartphones and other mobile devices by providing higher bandwidth and a savings in power compared with 802.11n.
